Lincoln County has installed CodeRED, a new web-based notification system to send alerts and updates to residents who opt in by a free subscription. The alerts are sent by Sheriff’s Department officials or Lincoln County Emergency Management when local public safety officials notify them of the need for an Emergency Alert of a General/Community Alert. Your dog should be licensed before the end of the calendar year. Proof of rabies vaccination must be provided. Licenses may be obtained in January without additional penalty fees. They are available at the Town Clerk’s office during normal business hours.
Please consider volunteering a few hours of your time to help your town. Volunteer for one of several of our committee openings. As an example, we need someone to help maintain our Facebook site and website. Other openings are available.
On January 6, 2020, at 6PM, Department and Committee heads are requested to meet with the Budget Committee to present first thoughts on their anticipated budget needs/wish list for 2020-2021 and beyond. Please also include any capital expenses your department may be considering. The Budget Committee will provide their proposed schedule of interviews with individual departments during this meeting.
