Be on the lookout for Edgecomb’s Harbor Master, Terry Stockwell, in his white 17.5’ Edgewater boat, starting around July 24th. The boat will be marked with signage on the console, identifying Terry as “Harbor Master.” He will be out on the Damariscotta, Sheepscot and Cross Rivers surveying moorings, in order to build a GPS map for the town.

Earlier this year the Waterfront Committee got voter approval for a new software system to help identify locations of the moorings, as well as to learn which are actually in use. The results of the survey will be reviewed by the Waterfront Committee to determine recommendations for any possible next steps.
